Language and Literacy Consultant


I have worked as an Advisory Teacher for 30 years, the last 15 years focussed on SLCN. Initially, I was a class teacher, SENCo, deputy headteacher and acting headteacher which gave me a broad classroom and management background to draw upon. My main areas of interest are oral language and emergent literacy. Over the past eight years I have carried out PhD research into effective approaches to vocabulary instruction, which has now been submitted for publication.
