About the Speaker 

Rav Wilding is a former soldier and police officer and is a very experienced and popular television presenter and voiceover artist fronting numerous live and pre-recorded factual and factual entertainment shows across most of the network channels. He co-hosted BBC One’s hugely successful Crimewatch for eight years and since 2009 Rav has fronted one of BBC One Daytime’s most popular shows, the spin-off Crimewatch Roadshow. He fronts numerous other shows for BBC One including Neighbourhood Blues, Ill Gotten Gains, Crime Scene Rescue, Christmas City, Britain’s Bravest Cops and Helicopter Heroes, which has aired both daytime and prime-time and he can be seen on the new daily magazine series Morning Live. For Channel 5 he fronted the prime time series Frontline Police and Law & Disorder: Catching Criminals Live. In April 2022 Rav presented Scam Interceptors, a brand new series for BBC One Daytime. Working with ethical hackers, Rav and the team hunt down cyber criminals and scammers, helping to prevent vulnerable people falling victim to them. He presented two hugely popular kids series for CBBC called Cop School and Hero Squad and even narrated an online game to accompany it. Rav fronted a week long series from the Frontline in Afghanistan called Remembrance Week for BBC One as well as co-hosting Missing Live. He’s also a regular face on BBC One’s flagship daily show, The One Show, presenting strands and as a studio guest. He participated in and won ITV’s successful physical challenge series 71 Degrees North set within the Arctic Circle. Rav also provides voiceover for two of Channel 5’s popular shows – Big Body Squad and World’s Craziest Police Pursuits. Rav was a detective constable for The Metropolitan Police for eight years and prior to that he was a member of the Army Parachute Air Defence Troop for four years. Rav is a lifelong fitness fan and as well as being an Army adventure training instructor, is also a qualified lifeguard and a level three personal trainer; when not working can often be found in a gym, or on a race track taking part in motorcycle track days.
