Daniel Sobel MA Ed (Psychology) FCMI FCIC FRSA is the CEO and founder of Inclusion Expert, a leading educational consultancy which offers training and resources to over 800 schools. With a background in Education Psychology and Psychotherapy, and as a former Assistant Headteacher, he has experience from a broad spectrum of in-school and consultancy work. He has consulted with the Department of Education, the European Union and various International Governments, the Institute of Education and the Cass School of Education at the University of East London. In 2012 Daniel was highly commended at the Educational Business Awards for his outstanding insights and strategic thinking in Education and Inclusion Expert has won numerous awards including a Grand Prix at the Education Investor Awards in 2015.
He is an author of a number of books including The Pupil Premium Handbook which was launched at the House of Commons, The Essential Guide to the Pupil Premium, The SEN Code of Practice Pack, he is a featured columnist for Headteacher Update and SecEd, has written a series about Inclusion in the Guardian, The Times Educational Supplement, and is a regular contributor to the Education Press in England, New Zealand, Canada and America. He regularly speaks on Educational Inclusion, Social and Behavioural issues, Special Educational Needs, Managing Mental Health, Foster Care Children and Impoverishment at national and international conferences. Daniel leads a team of top experts who help schools with Pupil Premium, SEN and EYFS reviews; TA training; Differentiation and Personalised learning coaching; SENCO training and support and all things Inclusion.
